Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows which include the latest revival of Violet. She also originated parts on Broadway with The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. The actress's Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Young Frankenstein. Sutton Foster was the Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and appeared in Bunheads as well as Psych. Sutton Foster has performed in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Sutton Foster has toured the United States and internationally as a soloist along with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" the first solo album, as well as her second album, "An evening With Sutton Foster Live in the Cafe Carlyle". Ball State University awarded her an honorary degree in the year 2011, and she continues to teach and advise students in the Department of Theatre and Dance. Since March, 2015, she has been playing the role of "Younger" on TVLand the new TV show created by Darren Star.
